The family room was spacious, but no en suite made it less comfortable.

Consider requesting a room away from the bar to enjoy quiet evenings, especially on weekends when live music can be loud.

Had a fantastic getaway with friends! We got a house setup, perfect for bonding while watching our favorite bands live, including some Irish folk and rock acts. The staff were super friendly and the food was excellent. Don’t miss enjoying drinks outdoors too!
Honestly, I can't think of anything negative about the experience!

Perfect for a group getaway!
The place was unique! We were given a house instead of rooms which worked out perfect as we got the fights on the TV!. The staff in the bar were so friendly, Tiernan the barman kept us well refreshed with drinks.
It wasn't inexpensive, but still acceptable for what we got.

Just a good match for a getaway in Armagh with high value for money. The studio I stayed in was cozy and comfortable. Be aware that the bar and restaurant only open Thursday to Saturday.

During our stay, we got a chance to enjoy some fantastic local music, including a lively Irish folk band at a nearby pub. It was a real treat for the whole family, especially my mother, who loved the traditional tunes.
My kids wished for more play areas for children.

The location of Basil Sheils B&B was fantastic, nestled by a brook that created a lovely atmosphere. The room decor gave off a cozy, vintage feel, reminiscent of a great-grandmother's bedroom. I loved the rustic charm in the dining area, which felt like a warm cottage retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Tiernan, the barman, who always ensured our drinks were topped up. The food was top-notch, with delightful options to choose from. the bar and restaurant were only open Thursday to Saturday, which limited dining options during our stay. A breakfast service would have been a nice touch, as we were left without that option. But despite these small issues, I’d definitely come back for the unique house setup and welcoming ambiance.

The family room was a perfect setup for our group, allowing us to enjoy TV together. Staff were exceptionally friendly, particularly in the bar where we enjoyed top-notch food and drinks. The outdoor seating was a plus since the weather was pleasant. the location was quite distant from the town, making access a bit cumbersome.
